The deposit of €250 will be held if the trip is cancelled by the participant after March 4, 2013. Travel and health insurance are recommended. The participants are responsible for any loss, damage, illness or injury during the trip. The program is based on a minimum amount of participants. With less participation the program is subject to change.
Accommodations
We will travel in elegance and nostalgic style, on the Dahabiya, "Nile Heaven II." The Dahabiyat are double mast sail boats, so popular among sophisticated travelers in past eras, particularly the 1930's and 40's. The Nile Heaven II has been modernized, without losing any of the original charm. It has ten air conditioned double cabins, each with bathroom and shower. A lovely, relaxing inside lounge and large wooden deck for dancing, relaxing, eating and sunbathing.
Meals
For our enjoyment, Sadan and Mohamed, the owners of the Nile View restaurant will prepare delicious food from the typical Egyptian cuisine. Three sumptuous meals will be prepared fresh daily..

Dance Classes
Connect with the melodies and rhythms of the Nile
The essence of the oriental dance has always been the magical exchange of the dancer and musicians in the moment. Dancing with live music is a totally different experience, which can transform a dancers creative expression and magnetism.
Daily classes will include combinations, technical training, musical awareness, guided improvisations. Explanations of the, melodies, motifs, styles and rhythms will be given,as well as how to dance to them. Accompanying us will be excellent musicians playing traditional instruments; nai, oud, arghool, accordian, tabla, riq, mashar, vocals....As the musicians will be on board with us, there will be time for relaxed spontaneous interaction with them.
In addition to the dance classes, Amoura will also lead separate sessions of guided meditations in the "Heart Rhythm Meditation" practice for those who wish to experience deeper inner quiet and mystical relaxation. Sailing on the ancient Nile offers us a perfect opportunity to slow down and enter other dimensions which we so miss in modern busy life. Amoura is certified instructor in this system.
Brigitte will share her vast knowledge by leading sessions of the Franklin Method for inner visual journeys to bring healing focus and awareness to the body and its systems.
